01 / Current status
An honest interim disclosure.
Some students may be unable to use parts of Book Builder comfortably or independently. Until an evaluation is complete, schools should not assume that every workflow works with every assistive technology or alternative input method.
The App Store currently does not indicate specific accessibility features for either edition.
02 / What this covers
Both publicly available editions.
This page applies to Puppet Pals Book Builder and Book Builder: School Edition. Purchasing and feature access differ, but both editions share the same core editor and current accessibility posture.
03 / What we know
The central workflow is visual and touch-driven.
Creative canvas
Building a page relies on selecting, visually placing, resizing, and arranging objects. Those interactions can present barriers for people who cannot use direct touch or who do not perceive the screen visually.
Platform features
End-to-end support for VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Switch Control, Reduce Motion, external keyboards, and other iOS access features has not yet been verified.
Formal status
No WCAG conformance level, Section 508 conformance statement, or VPAT is currently published for Book Builder.
04 / Guidance for schools
Evaluate the assignment your students will actually complete.
If accessibility is a purchasing requirement, test the app on the intended device with the assistive technology, input method, imported media, and export or print step the lesson requires.
Accessibility information for Puppet Pals 1 or another Polished Play app describes a different product and should not be used as evidence of Book Builder conformance.

Document first. Improve from evidence.
A future evaluation should identify supported platform features, known barriers, and the app’s status against relevant accessibility criteria. This page will be updated when there is verified information to publish; no completion date is being promised here.
