Accessibility / Current disclosure

What we know—and what we’re still evaluating.

Current status

Puppet Pals 2 is not fully accessible.

A detailed evaluation is in progress. We are not claiming WCAG conformance or offering a Puppet Pals 2 VPAT at this time.

01 / Current status

An honest interim disclosure.

Puppet Pals 2 does not meet every accessibility need. Some students may be unable to use parts of the app comfortably or independently. Until the evaluation is complete, schools should not assume that every workflow is compatible with every assistive technology or access method.

This is an interim statement, not a conformance report. It is intentionally narrower than a VPAT and does not make a blanket accessibility claim.

02 / What this covers

Both currently available editions.

This page applies to the standard Puppet Pals 2 app and Puppet Pals 2: School Edition. The editions differ in how features are purchased and unlocked, but they share the same core creative experience and current accessibility posture.

Standard edition
Puppet Pals 2
Free download with optional feature purchases.
Classroom edition
Puppet Pals 2: School Edition
One-time purchase per app license, with the complete feature set unlocked.

03 / What we can say today

Coverage has not yet been fully verified.

Platform features

The evaluation is determining whether and where iOS features such as VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, Switch Control, and external keyboards are supported. We have not yet verified end-to-end coverage for any of them.

Creative stage

The core experience relies on direct touch, visual placement, and moving characters around a stage. Those interactions can present barriers for students who use assistive technology or alternative input methods.

Formal conformance

No WCAG conformance level, Section 508 conformance statement, or VPAT is currently published for Puppet Pals 2.

04 / Guidance for schools

Evaluate the student workflow you plan to use.

If accessibility is a procurement requirement, test the app with the devices, assistive technologies, and activities your students will actually use. Contact us before purchase if you need help evaluating a particular workflow.

Puppet Pals 1 has a separate accessibility report, but it describes a different app. It should not be used as evidence of Puppet Pals 2 conformance.

05 / What comes next

Document first. Improve from evidence.

The evaluation will document supported platform features, known barriers, and the app’s status against relevant accessibility criteria. This page will be updated when that work is complete.
